Wow….. I have so much to learn!

Sorry this blog is a little late, I’ve been having action packed days everyday!!! I’ve been having so much fun and also have been learning so much! 😮

My speaking skills in Japanese needs serious refining, however I can actually understand bits and pieces of conversation!!!!!!! Which is really cool!!!!!!!!!!!

If I listen hard enough I can understand and it’s crazy to me that my progress has been moving this fast already.

My amazing host family took me out to some places over the weekend such as the Gujo Odori, Ghibli Park, and a delilous Teppanyaki! For the odori, I got to wear a beautiful kimono and we bought some traditional Geta (wooden slippers) to dance in. 👘

Today is a National Holiday, Ocean day, so I didn’t have school today. People celebrate by going to the beach or participating in some sort of water activity!☺️🌊

I’ve been working hard to continue studying Japanese and my progress is inspiring. I hope to have more conversations in Japanese and improve my proficiency and understanding of this beautiful language. I can’t wait to learn Kanji because that is one of the most fascinating part of the Japanese language to me.

Halfway through my trip and it feels like I only arrived yesterday. Time is flying by so I must make the most of it!!

Thank you for reading, see you next week!!
